Dr. Messiha graduated from the VSTEP program in Guelph, Ontario and started his career in 2007 in Lethbridge Alberta. In 2009 Dr Messiha returned to the GTA and joined the ER department at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto. Dr Messiha joined Salem Animal Hospital in 2010 as a Veterinarian Associate and then in 2012 he became a partner at Salem Animal Hospital. Dr. Messiha's best areas of interest are internal medicine, critical care, and preventive medicine. Dr Messiha is married to Nermine and has two children Mariam and Michael.
You can find me upfront greeting both you and your furry babies or assisting the veterinarian with the care of your babies. Although I am young I come from a lengthy retail background in the pet industry. I have a wide understanding when it comes to pet nutrition and animal care. I’ve had a love for animals ever since I can remember, they are a part of my everyday life; I’ve owned small animals, reptiles, fish, dogs and cats. I love spending time outdoors with my big sucky Cane Corse Dax and my Maltese Molly, I also have a sweet cat named Abbie. Every day I am surrounded by animals, no matter what time it is.
